Mezzo-Soprano Isabella Daltoso is a Master of Music candidate at Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) where she serves as a graduate teaching assistant in Music History. Her recent opera credits include Madeline/Three Decembers at CCPA, Suzuki/Madama Butterfly with International Opera Institute, and Third Lady/The Magic Flute with Centralia OperaOther roles include Marcellina/Le Nozze di Figaro, Dinah/Trouble in Tahiti, and Sesto/Giulio Cesare. She was a national semifinalist in the CS Music Competition, and a semifinalist in the International MIOpera competition. This January she will join the Smith Young Artist Program at Cedar Rapids Opera and will appear in their mainstage production of Die Fledermaus. She has performed with Vashon Opera, Northwest Sinfonietta, the College Music Society, Great Lakes Operetta, and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) where she was an Agnes Berge Smith Music Scholar and James D. Holloway Scholar. 

As a teacher, Isabella seeks to help students develop their artistic identity and grow their musical skills. She believes lessons should build confidence and self-awareness, and that music is a vessel for personal expression and reflection. She prioritizes curiosity, humor, and challenging the student to accomplish personalized goals. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Isabella enjoys spending time in nature. She is also passionate about neurodiversity and disability related advocacy.
